This is a big day for your
dog and they are likely to be excited to be at the Petwalk
seeing the hundreds of other dogs. For
the safety of all dogs, we must prohibit the use of Flexi-leads
and ask you to save those for walks around your neighborhood.
In addition, dogs must be wearing an ID tag and be kept on
a leash at all times. |

All dogs must have current rabies and distemper
vaccinations. |
| |

| 3. |
For their own safety, pets other than canines
are not allowed to participate. |
| |
|
| 4. |
No dogs in any stage of heat or under four
months of age will be allowed to participate in the walk. |

| 5. |
Dogs must be kept under control at all
times. Any unruly participants will be asked to leave. |
| |
|
| 6. |
Participants are expected to practice responsible
pet ownership and clean up after their dogs. Pooper Scooper
bags will be provided. (Be sure
to participate in our “Poop“ Raffle!) |

| 7. |
No bicycles, skateboards, in-line skates
are allowed at the event. Strollers are not allowed on the
Nature Hike. |

All participants must sign a waiver and
submit it to the DCSPCA via pre-registration or at registration
the day of the event. |
