1. Save the Date
Saturday, October 2, 2010 from 11:00am to 3:00pm. Plan to make a day of it! Don't worry if you don't have a dog — you can walk on your own or with a human companion!

2. Pre-register
Pre-register with a minimum of $25.00 and you'll get a Doggie Bag filled with goodies. You'll also have a full access pass to all the games and activities that are happening during the day. Plus you'll be entered into a special drawing for a fabulous Dog Lover's Gift Basket just for pre-registrants. Free Petwalk Commemorative T-Shirt if you pledge or raise a minimum of $50.00 or more in donations. Just complete the Registration Form or pre-register on line and set up a fundraising page. Pre-registrations must be postmarked no later than September 28 or brought to the shelter or phoned in with a credit card by September 30, 2010.

3. Keep collecting donations
You can win fabulous prizes for the pledges you raise. Go to your family, friends and co-workers and start collecting pledges now! Every extra dollar goes to help the homeless animals in our shelter. Download your pledge form or set up an on line fundraising page. It takes just 5 friends or family members to donate just $5 each to cover your Registration fee and you get an All Access Pass to all the games and activities.

4. Practice
Plan to enter your dog in one or more of our contests, and practice for the big day.

5. Check in on Petwalk Day
If you weren't able to pre-register, you can still register on the day of the event with a minimum $25.00 donation. Both pre-registered and day-of-event-registered walkers should bring their sponsor sheets and any additional pledges to the Registration Booth starting at 11:00am. Check in with $250 or more and go to the head of every line with Fast Paws.

6. Have a great time
And feel proud that you are a special friend to homeless animals and the DCSPCA!
